Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi told CNN today (Wednesday) that she would not be attending the Joint Session of Congress where Prime Minister Netanyahu is scheduled to speak today.

Her spokesperson said that "Speaker Pelosi will not be attending today’s Joint Meeting. This morning, she will join a Members meeting with Israeli citizens whose families have suffered in the wake of the October 7th Hamas terror attack and kidnappings."

Vice President Kamala Harris and a growing number of Democratic Congressmembers and Senators are also not attending, some based on claimed scheduling conflicts and others out of open opposition to Netanyahu and the war itself.
