Biden's Candid Confession: "I nearly fell asleep on stage during the debate."

Biden's honest reflection on his debate performance and the challenges of his office offer voters a rare, unvarnished look at the realities of presidential campaigning in one's old age.

President Joe Biden offered a surprisingly frank assessment of his recent debate performance during a campaign event in Virginia.

He acknowledged that he was not at his best during last week's presidential debate, citing the impact of extensive global travel. "The truth is, I didn't have the best night," Biden told the audience. He revealed that he had traveled "around the world several times, crossing nearly a hundred time zones" before the debate, against the advice of his staff, as reported by Kann News.

In the weeks leading up to the debate, Biden undertook separate trips to France and Italy, as well as attending a fundraising event in California. Despite dedicating six days to debate preparation at Camp David, the effects of jet lag apparently lingered.

The President went so far to admit, "I almost fell asleep on stage."

This openness about his struggles comes amidst reports from the New York Times that Biden's family, particularly his son Hunter, had discussions about his continuation in the race following the debate. However, the President seems determined to persevere, recently telling supporters, "When you get knocked down – you get back up."
