As reported by Walla, the far-right National Rally headed by Marine Le Pen, won the first round of French parliamentary elections - as per the official results published this morning (Monday). However, the final results will only become clear at the end of the second round next week.
In second place was the coalition of left-wing parties, the New Popular Front, with 28%, before President Emmanuel Macron's Center Bloc with only 20%. The turnout was high - about 67% of those with the right to vote. This is the highest figure since at least 1986.
