Russian media outlet Interfax reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin landed in North Korea today (Tuesday) for his first state visit in 24 years.
The goal of the visit is to strengthen defense ties and security cooperation between the two countries.
This cooperation likely includes weapons produced by North Korea for the war in Ukraine; South Korea noted yesterday that North Korea had recently shipped as many five million artillery shells to Russia, according to the Kyiv Independent.
