The presidential campaign is underway
A week after he officially secured the nomination of the Republican Party in the US presidential elections, former President Donald Trump held an election rally in Ohio. During the rally, Trump threatened that if he did not win the elections this November, "There will be a bloodbath" in the US.
Trump's words were said while referring to the possible trade war between the United States and China, which he claims is hurting the American economy. "China is currently building huge factories to manufacture cars in Mexico," Trump claimed, addressing Chinese President Xi Jinping. "Xi, if you're listening now - We are both good friends, but you have to understand how I act. You're not going to sell these cars to us when you don't employ Americans."
Following Trump's words, US President Biden's spokesman said that, "Donald Trump lost by a margin of over 7 million votes, and instead of appealing to a wider audience - he prefers to stick to his threats of political violence. He wants another January 6, but the American public will give him another loss and will continue to oppose his extremism."
