Iranian opposition activist claims: "This is where Nasrallah is hiding"

An Iranian exile linked to the Syrian and Iranian opposition claimed to have uncovered the place where Hassan Nasrallah and the rest of Hezbollah's leadership are hiding deep in the mountains of Lebanon.

An account on the social network of an Iranian exile linked to the Iranian opposition claims to have revealed the location where Hassan Nasrallah and the rest of Hezbollah's military command are hiding.

The activist linked to the Iranian and Syrian opposition, revealed on his account on the X social network (formerly Twitter) photographs of what is claimed to be the underground hiding place of Hezbollah officials in Lebanon. In the video obtained by members of the Iranian opposition, the opposition activist says you can see the network of tunnels in which the group's leaders are hiding.

In the video he posted, we can see a photo of several dark SUVs in front of the entrance to the tunnel in the quarry, surrounded by a series of drainage tunnels and deep excavations that continue into the mountain. The opposition man mocked Nasrallah in a tweet and wrote: "While the people of South Lebanon are suffering, Nasrallah and the rats are hiding in the sewer tunnels."

According to what is seen in the photograph, it is a network of tunnels that was established as part of quarrying work in the Lebanon Mountains.

In 2018, the British "Independent" newspaper published a series of investigations called "The Lebanon Mountains Are Disappearing", which dealt with the illegal quarrying industry that exists in the Lebanon Mountains,

Unsurprisingly, the "Independent" pointed to connections between the Hezbollah organization and some of the illegal quarries.
