The war on maritime terrorism: The US military announced this morning (Sunday) that 4 Houthi ships attacked a US military ship and helicopter in the Red Sea, which were protecting merchant ships sailing in the area. According to them, 3 of the Houthi ships were sunk, and their crews were killed, while the fourth ship escaped.

According to the US military statement, the rebels from Yemen fired at the vessel and tried to board it when the security team on the ship responded with fire. During the attack, two ballistic missiles were fired at the US Navy ships, which were intercepted by the forces. No casualties or damage to the American ships were reported in the incident.

Earlier today, the UK's Maritime Trade Service (UKMTO) reported another incident near the Yemeni port of Hodeidah when three small gunmen's boats opened fire on a commercial ship sailing in the area. According to the report, forces of the international coalition arrived at the scene - and the gunmen fled the scene. No injuries were reported among the crew members.

Refreshing! Good to see something being done about the Houthis, who still have the nerve to claim that the American attack is "aggression" and that it shows that the Americans have "declared war"! The Houthis declared war!
