The Central Command of the United States Army announced tonight that they rescued the cargo ship that was attacked yesterday in the Gulf of Aden by the Houthis, two ballistic missiles were fired at the warship USS Mason that assisted in the rescue, the missiles fell into the sea and there was no damage or casualties.
The ship that was attacked by the Houthis is the British tanker "Central Park" belonging to the Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer. The US warship responded to distress calls from the tanker's crew in the Gulf of Aden after five Houthi militants attempted to hijack it. While the tanker crew locked themselves in the safe room, the Americans, with the help of a Japanese destroyer that was also in the area, chased the Houthis towards Yemen and fired warning shots at them. A number of militants who were on the ship were captured.
