In response to the fire towards Mount Dov: Air Force fighter jets attacked terrorists and dozens of launchers and infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization across Lebanon this evening (Monday).

Additionally, fighter jets attacked in the Bregaz area in southern Lebanon the launcher from which two missiles were fired towards Mount Dov, shortly after the shooting.

"The shooting this evening towards the State of Israel constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement between the State of Israel and the State of Lebanon," stated the IDF spokesperson. "The State of Israel demands that the relevant authorities in the State of Lebanon implement the understandings and prevent hostile activities by the terrorist organization Hezbollah from its territory,"

The IDF spokesperson noted that "the State of Israel continues to be committed to the understandings reached regarding the ceasefire in Lebanon."

"The IDF is prepared to continue attacking as necessary, and will continue to act in order to protect the citizens of the State of Israel," the statement said.

As mentioned, the IDF's attacks now are in response to Hezbollah violating the ceasefire for the first time since Wednesday. Two rockets were fired towards the Dove region and fell in open areas. The IDF reported that there were no casualties.

Earlier, the Prime Minister addressed Hezbollah's fire that violated the ceasefire. "Israel is determined to continue enforcing the ceasefire and respond to any violation by Hezbollah – whether minor or severe," Netanyahu said.

Earlier, the Defense Minister addressed Hezbollah's firing and also said: "We promised to act against any violation of the ceasefire by Hezbollah – and that is exactly what we will do."
