The response to Hezbollah's fire: IDF spokesperson announced a short while ago (Monday) that the IDF has begun attacking targets in Lebanon.
In Lebanon, reports indicate that targets have been attacked in Sidon and Nabatieh. As well as attacks in several villages in southern Lebanon. Additionally, drones were reported in the skies over Beirut.
Simultaneously with the IDF attacks in Lebanon, a red alert was sounded a short while ago in the Lehavot Habashan area in the Upper Galilee. No reports of casualties or damage have been received. It is likely a false alarm.
Earlier, the Prime Minister addressed Hezbollah's fire that violated the ceasefire. "Israel is determined to continue enforcing the ceasefire and respond to any violation by Hezbollah – whether minor or severe," Netanyahu said.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense addressed Hezbollah's firing and also said: "We promised to act against any violation of the ceasefire by Hezbollah – and that is exactly what we will do."
As mentioned, the IDF's strikes now are in response to Hezbollah violating the ceasefire earlier today for the first time since Wednesday. Two rockets were fired towards the Dov region and fell in open areas. The IDF stated that there are no casualties.
