Following Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire earlier today, Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi threatens the terrorist organization: "We will strike with force."

Today, the Chief of Staff visited the Northern Command and held a situational assessment and a field tour in southern Lebanon with the Northern Command commander and the division commanders operating in the sector.

"We will respond with force to Hezbollah's severe violation – and we will continue to do so," Halevi said. "We have plans and objectives ready to be activated at any moment."

The Prime Minister also addressed Hezbollah's firing that violated the ceasefire. According to Netanyahu, Israel is determined to continue enforcing the ceasefire and respond to any violation by Hezbollah, whether minor or severe.

Earlier, the Minister of Defense addressed Hezbollah's firing and also said: "We promised to act against any violation of the ceasefire by Hezbollah – and that is exactly what we will do." Hezbollah's firing at an IDF outpost on Mount Dov will be met with a harsh response. What was will not be."

Minister Smotrich said, "Hezbollah made a serious mistake, and its violation by firing at Mount Dov must bring a powerful blow upon it, one through which it will understand well that the equation has changed and what was in the past will not be again." The era of restraint is over."

As mentioned, earlier today, Hezbollah violated the ceasefire for the first time since Wednesday. Two rockets were fired towards the Dove area and fell in open spaces. The IDF reported that there were no casualties.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Netanyahu, along with Defense Minister Gantz, arrived at the Recruitment Office and addressed the ceasefire in Lebanon: "In this sense, we are also enforcing the ceasefire agreement very strictly, and any violation will immediately meet with a strong response from the IDF." So it has been, and so it will be. We will continue to ensure Israel's security.
