A spokesperson for the Pentagon said today (Monday) that despite Hezbollah rocket fire on Mount Dov and IDF air strikes in retaliation, the ceasefire in the north is still in place.

Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel would respond powerfully to the attack on Mount Dov, and that it is prepared to police every violation of the ceasefire, no matter how small.

Defense Minister Katz similarly said that Hezbollah's attack would be met with a harsh response, per the government decision to enforce every aspect of the ceasefire.

MKs from both the opposition and the coalition are calling for a "disproportionate" responds which avoids a static tit-for-tat fight in the north, of the sort many call a "drizzle" of rockets.
