Bezalel Smotrich on Hezbollah attack: "The era of containment is over"

Finance Minister and Religious Zionism party leader Bezalel Smotrich said today (Monday) that Hezbollah's missile attack on Mount Dov must be met with a powerful response.

In his statement, he said that "Hezbollah made a serious mistake and its (ceasefire) violation in firing on Mount Dov must bring upon it a powerful blow, of the sort through which it will understand very well that the equation changed and what was in the past will not be again. The era of containment is over."

Transportation Minister Miri Regev said that "we will not return to the era of (rocket fire) drizzle. As was decided in the cabinet, Israel will respond powerfully to every violation of the agreement on the part of Hezbollah."
