Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich met today (Sunday) with representatives of Kibbutz Nir Oz, with whom he discussed the rebuilding and even expanding of one of the hardest hit settlements in the October 7th attack.
Smotrich had already visited the kibbutz two weeks earlier, where he saw scenes of the devastation and ruin left behind by Hamas and their allies all throughout the community.
Smotrich said that "the determination and heroism of the sons and daughters of Nir Oz are an inspiration for all of us. My full commitment is to continue to work with all means necessary to develop the kibbutz, to bring about its flourishing, and help restore the community to a life full of creativity and prosperity.
