The IDF Spokesperson reported this morning (Sunday) that an Israeli Air Force aircraft attacked terrorist operatives from the air in the Jenin area.

According to a report by Army Radio military correspondent Doron Kadosh, the squad that was attacked in the Jenin area included four terrorists who were identified as armed and have been under surveillance by the security forces for some time.

The airstrike did not come due to an immediate threat in the area, but rather in order take advantage of an opportunity.

The attack was carried out in the village of Sir, about 15 km south of Jenin, near Qabatiyah.

The IDF is currently investigating whether the terrorists were killed, and the Palestinians are reporting that IDF forces have entered the village.
