Im Tirzu to Netanyahu: A ceasefire deal must pass the Knesset, too

The rightwing movement sent a letter to the Prime Minister, saying in the name of "thousands" of reservists that a deal so fateful needed to be passed by the Israeli parliament.

Matan Jerafi, Director of the rightwing Im Tirzu movement, sent a letter today (Tuesday) to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, asking him to put any ceasefire deal up to a vote in both the government and the Knesset.

In the letter, Jerafi appealed to Netanyahu "in the name of thousands of reservists, tens of thousands of their relatives, and primarily in the name of my fighting comrades" to not repeat what they say are the mistakes of the Bennet-Lapid government in passing the maritime border deal with Lebanon.

Jerafi further said that he and his fellow soldiers have just returned home but are willing to go back as long as it takes to secure "absolute victory" but that "we must not return to October 6th!"
