Senior IDF officers told Kann News today (Sunday) that the days in which the IDF struck only in retaliation for attacks by Hezbollah are over, and that the army intends to increase the pressure and attacks according to its own, thorough plans.
The IDF told reporter Itay Blumenthal that it is increasing the pressure on Hezbollah based on a very large number of targets for the Air Force, despite the difficult weather, and that IDF ground forces are already making it to the second line of villages in southern Lebanon and even to the Litani River.
With these attacks and the increased Hezbollah salvos, escalation in the north is likely, as both sides are trying to force an agreement more amenable to them.
