Israeli Air Force aircraft, under the precise intelligence guidance of Military Intelligence, the Shin Bet and the Southern Command, attacked and eliminated terrorist Khaled Abu Daqa, commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's rocket unit, who operated in the humanitarian area of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

On October 7 and since then, he has commanded the firing of rockets at the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip and many operatives who fired into Israeli territory.

Prior to the attack, many steps were taken to reduce the risk of civilian casualties, including armaments, accurate intelligence, and aerial observations.
