Staff Sergeant Ron Epshtein fell in battle in Gaza

19-year-old Nesher native served in the Givati Brigade’s Tzabar Battalion. May his memory be a blessing.

The IDF announced on Thursday that Staff Sergeant Ron Epshtein, 19, from Nesher, was killed in action during combat operations in the southern Gaza Strip.

SSG Epshtein served in the Tzabar Battalion of the Givati Brigade, demonstrating dedication and bravery in the line of duty.

His tragic loss brings the total number of IDF soldiers killed since the October 7th massacre to 804.

Last night, a soldier from the Rotem Battalion in the Givati Brigade was seriously wounded by anti-tank fire at a building where the soldiers were staying in the northern Gaza Strip.
