3 UAVs penetrate from Lebanese territory, crash with no casualties

Israeli Air Force launched a chase; interception attempts were made against the vehicles, which eventually crashed without casualties in the Western Galilee area.

Three UAVs penetrated northern Israeli communities on Wednesday morning, and although attempts were made by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) to intercept the vehicles, the IDF announced that the UAVs crashed in the Western Galilee with no casualties.

From early morning, sirens went off in Shlomi, Betzet, Liman, Gesher HaZiv, Saar, Sheikh Danon, Ben Ami and Nahariya. After a short time, the drone continued south, and sirens were also activated in Acre, Haifa and the Krayot.

After the sirens were activated, the IDF Spokesperson said: "A short time ago, alerts were activated in the areas of the Western Galilee and Upper Galilee following the identification of a suspicious aerial target from Lebanon. The target is being monitored by the Air Force and the incident is still ongoing," and after more than 20 minutes, the IDF announced that the incident had ended.

The IDF Spokesperson's Office said after announcing the end of the incident that "three UAVs that crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon were identified. Interception attempts were made, hits were identified in the Western Galilee area. There are no casualties."
