The IDF Spokesperson in Arabic revealed that Hezbollah rockets hit a UNIFIL facility in southern Lebanon, injuring several members of the organization and causing damage to the base. The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon is present in order to maintain peace in the region, though that doesn't seem to be working very well.

The IDF Spokesperson in Arabic reveals that IDF systems detected Hezbollah rockets hitting a UNIFIL base in Lebanon. The rockets were fired towards Israel, and some hit inside Lebanon and within the UNIFIL facility.

After reports earlier today indicated that a UNIFIL facility sustained a direct hit as a result of shelling during the fighting earlier today. The IDF spokesperson in Arabic revealed that after an internal investigation was conducted in the IDF, it was identified that the strike on the base was carried out by a barrage of rockets fired by Hezbollah, hitting part of it within Lebanon.

According to the IDF spokesperson in Arabic, the UNIFIL facility was hit as a result of a rocket shell fired by Hezbollah operatives in the Dir al-Ams area in southern Lebanon. A barrage of rockets was fired towards Israel, but at least one of the rockets hit the UNIFIL base directly.

The forces stationed at the base report several casualties and damage to infrastructure and equipment as a result of the shelling.
