The IDF announced a short time ago today (Thursday) that it struck military structures and command posts belonging to Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the area of the Syrian capital of Damascus today. The IDF called it a "significant" strike against the organization's leadership and operatives.

The IDF said that PIJ, which worked with Hamas to commit October 7th and which holds some of the hostages, is assisting Hezbollah in southern Lebanon with the aim of harming the State of Israel.

All three organizations operate under Iranian direction and control.
