In a series of targeted operations across the West Bank on Tuesday, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated four terrorists in response to escalating threats, the IDF announced Wednesday.
The primary incident occurred in Qabatiya, near Jenin, where a vehicle attempted to ram IDF soldiers, colliding with an IDF vehicle and injuring two soldiers. Both soldiers sustained light injuries, received immediate treatment on-site, and did not require hospitalization.
Following the collision, IDF forces neutralized both occupants of the vehicle, one of whom was identified as Majdi Hamza Ahmed Shkira, a known operative wanted for orchestrating terror activities in Jenin.
In a separate incident, two additional terrorists were killed in an IDF airstrike after they attacked Israeli forces with explosives. During the operations, the IDF also conducted a series of arrests, seized hidden weapons, and dismantled an explosives laboratory.
The crackdown signals the IDF’s commitment to dismantling terror infrastructure in the region amid heightened security tensions.
