A terror attack unfolded moments ago at Shilo Junction in the Binyamin region, leaving multiple casualties and the terrorist neutralized, security officials report.
The incident appears to have involved both a vehicle ramming attempt and a knife, according to emergency responders at the scene. Sources indicate the terrorist emerged from the vehicle wielding a knife before being shot by security forces.
"A shooting attack has occurred at Shilo Junction in the Binyamin region. The terrorist has been neutralized," the IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed in an initial statement.
Medical teams are currently treating at least one seriously wounded victim, while two others reportedly sustained light injuries in the attack. First responders continue to scan the area.
The junction, located in the Binyamin region north of Jerusalem, has seen several security incidents in recent months.
UPDATE: The Shiloh intersection is now closed to traffic in both directions.
