Tragic Update: Missing man found in Sea of Galilee, but he didn't survive

Tragically, after extensive search efforts, the missing man was located, but he showed no signs of life and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

After an extensive 3-day search, the body of a 38-year-old man was recovered from the Sea of Galilee on Monday. The man had gone missing on Saturday after entering the water on a kayak and falling overboard, with his whereabouts unknown.

The victim was identified by his family members, who had been on the scene assisting in the search efforts since the initial incident on Saturday.

The search involved a large-scale operation with multiple agencies, including the maritime police unit, rescue divers, firefighters, an police helicopter, and additional personnel scouring the area.

An MDA medic at the site reported: "We found the man unconscious after he was pulled from the water, and upon examination, determined that he had no signs of life."
