The commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Hossein Salami, issued another threat towards Israel this evening, reiterating that last week's Israeli attack will not go unanswered.

"Israel is expected to face unimaginable consequences," said Salami. "She thinks she can change history with a few missiles, but she saw how her air defense systems collapsed in the missile attack on October 1st."

Salami added that "Israel made a mistake, Iran's response will be indescribable."

Meanwhile, against the backdrop of Israel's preparations for the Iranian attack, and just before the United States presidential elections, a senior official addressed the nature of the attack and the timing of its execution in an interview with CNN.

The senior official said in a conversation with the American network that "Iran's response to the Israeli attack will be painful – it will come the day before the elections in the U.S." We remind you that the elections in the U.S. are expected to take place next Tuesday.
