Hamas Caught Red-Handed

UNRWA worker: "Hamas came in and took everything" | Watch

The worker, who was being interrogated by Israeli security officials, also said that Hamas prefers to use UNRWA vehicles over its own as a form of protection against the IDF.

The IDF released a video today (Thursday) showing an UNRWA employee, one of the many hundreds detained for interrogation in the Jebaliya operation, explaining how Hamas steals from and abuses UNRWA goods and vehicles to its own end.

According to the employee, whose name is censored for his protection, Hamas often enters into UNRWA workplaces and takes everything "by force" and in full view of everyone in the building. They then reportedly hand it out in "private ways" and in accordance with their own needs.

The employee was then asked why Hamas also makes use of UNRWA vehicles when they steal from UNRWA warehouses and sites, to which he responded that this makes them feel safe and secure, as "the war is still going on."

Israel passed laws this week banning UNRWA from operating in Israeli territory and forbidding government bodies from working with them. The laws were passed over the objections of the United States, Europe, and the UN itself, due to the discovery of multiple ties between UNRWA employees and terrorism.
