Leaving no-one behind: IDF evacuates almost two thousand wounded by helicopter during war | Watch

This includes some 200 wounded from the northern front and 1,600 from the south, in over 1,000 extraction missions.

Over the last year, the IDF has used Sikorski and Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopters to evacuate over 1800 IDF wounded from various sectors, especially in southern Lebanon and throughout the Gaza Strip.

These helicopters have taken medical crews on over 1,000 extraction missions, rescuing some 200 wounded from the north and some 1600 from the south to be treated, in many cases saving their lives.
