The bill to deport families of Israeli terrorists passed the second and third readings in the Knesset committee.
According to this bill, the Minister of the Interior can deport members of a terrorist's family: spouse, parents, children, and siblings if they knew in advance about the planned attack or supported it afterward.
The deportation will be valid for not less than 7 years outside the State of Israel for a citizen and 10 years for a resident; the family members will be deported to the Gaza Strip.
The bill will be put to a vote in the Knesset plenum this coming Monday.
