The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, toured this week with the Northern Command Commander and the 98th Division Commander in the underground complex of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon, which was destroyed over the weekend by IDF forces.

The Chief of Staff in the Hezbollah bunker complex in southern Lebanon: "From here, they could launch a raid into the State of Israel." We caught it in time, and these infrastructures must not return here for generations.

During the tour, Halevi stated: "This area features a highly developed tunnel system—complete with restrooms, kitchens, showers, and numerous weapons caches. It includes living quarters capable of housing an entire company. Supplies can be stored here, enabling operations against the State of Israel." He continued, "We have been warning for years that Hezbollah is constructing facilities near the border. To the nations that doubted this, as well as to the UN and UNIFIL forces stationed here—these findings are crucial to understanding why we must prevent such infrastructures from returning. We caught this in time, before it was too late, and it is imperative that these structures do not reemerge."

Addressing the commanders present in the tunnel, the Chief of Staff emphasized: "Our objective is to completely dismantle this operation. Nothing can remain here that could serve as a base. We will have a long-term mission to ensure that no new constructions are permitted here—this is equally important. In years to come, you will return here with your grandchildren, knowing you liberated the Ramim Ridge."
