It's still raining rockets...15 rockets fired at Upper Galilee

The IDF reports that most of the rockets were intercepted and the remainder fell in open areas. No casualties have been reported.

The IDF reports that about forty minutes ago today (Sunday), 15 rockets were identified as launched from Lebanon towards the upper Galilee and the Shlomi area.

The rockets were mostly intercepted, with the rest falling in open areas. No casualties have been reported thus far.

A siren pointing to a hostile aircraft penetrating Israeli airspace shortly afterward is now known to be a false identification.

The IDF announced that it eliminated the Hezbollah commander of the Bin Jbeil area two days ago (Friday) based on intelligence guidance from Northern Command.

It then did the same for his replacement just 24 hours later, in a strike which also eliminated the Bin Jbeil area artillery commander.

Both commanders directed multiple terror operations against Israel and the IDF, including rocket fire into Israel and anti-tank fire against IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon.
