Master Sergeant Saar Navarsky fell during heavy fighting in northern Israel

Upper Galilee hit by deadly attack, three more soldiers critically injured in strike.

Master Sergeant (res.) Saar Eliad Navarsky, 27, from Tel Aviv, fell in the fighting in northern Israel, the IDF announced on Tuesday.

A soldier in the Artillery Corps, Navarsky became the fourth from his unit to be killed. He fell during a Hezbollah rocket attack on the Upper Galilee, which also left three other soldiers severely wounded.

A barrage of 10 rockets was fired from Lebanon, landing southeast of Kiryat Shmona and igniting a brushfire in the area.

Dozens of rockets targeted Israel throughout the day, including strikes on central regions. One rocket attack caused significant damage to 20 homes in a kibbutz south of Haif
