An Israeli official speaking to the Times of Israel today (Sunday) said that the body of Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas leader eliminated a few days ago, would be used as one of the bargaining chips to try and bring back the hostages.

The official said that "We will use a range of levers to pressure Hamas, both military and diplomatic."

Following Sinwar's successful elimination, his body was taken back into Israel and moved to a secure and secret location.
