The IDF has released a wealth of official statistics today (Monday) to mark one year since the October 7 massacre and the subsequent wars in the north, south, and beyond.
According to the IDF, and as reported by Channel 12 News, about 26,000 rockets and missiles have been fired at Israel since the war began. About 13,200 rockets were launched from Gaza, around 12,400 from Lebanon, as well as 400 from Iran, 180 from Yemen, and 60 from Syria.
Regarding terrorist losses: The IDF says 14,000 Hamas terrorists have been killed with a high degree of certainty, with around 3,000 more with a lower degree of certainty. The full number is difficult to ascertain as Hamas remains silent on its losses. About 800 Hezbollah terrorists have been killed so far.
These numbers include many senior and junior commanders, as the chain of command of many units has been destroyed, rendering most of Hamas' units paralyzed as military units.
726 IDF soldiers have died in the war so far, including 346 killed in combat inside Gaza, while 4,576 soldiers have been wounded.
