Over the past 24 hours, the Air Force has attacked more than 100 terror infrastructures and targets in support of the troops. Northern Command Chief, Major General Uri Gurdin, conducted a situational assessment with Division 98 Commander, Brigadier General Guy Levy, and other commanders as the forces advanced towards targets in Lebanon near the border.
During the night, combat teams from the Paratroopers Brigade, Commando Division, and Brigade 7, under Division 98, began focused and coordinated ground operations in several areas of southern Lebanon aimed at destroying terror infrastructures from which the Hezbollah organization planned to attack Israel.
During the raids, Paratrooper fighters located dozens of combat means and positions, while fighters from the Egoz Unit found a site with concealed rocket launchers and explosives, destroying an active combat site of Hezbollah militants.
Additionally, over the past day, the Air Force has struck more than 100 terror infrastructures and targets in support of the troops. During the situational assessment, Gurdin told Brigadier General Guy Levy: "We have initiated the operation we started this evening, with 98 leading this effort. Targeted attacks against the preparation areas of Radwan, against the offensive areas threatening northern settlements, to locate and destroy them. We will take this step to allow the residents of the north to return home. We are determined, you are leading, continue on this path."
