A Lebanese security source said that an Iranian spy provided Israel with the details of the now-deceased Hezbollah Chairman Hassan Nasrallah's arrival at its headquarters in south Beirut, the French newspaper Le Parisien reported Saturday night.

According to the report, the confidential and accurate information was received a few hours before Israel launched the attack, which led to the assassination of Nasrallah and other senior members of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

On Saturday, Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked Hezbollah's central and underground headquarters, which was located under a residential building in Beirut's Dahiya area. The attack was carried out while Hezbollah leaders were at headquarters coordinating terrorist activities against Israeli citizens.

The deadly bombs were dropped by F-15i fighter jets belonging to the 69th Squadron in the Israeli Air Force: "We are preparing for this operation for several days. The details are revealed a few days ahead of schedule in order to maintain compartmentalization, and only a few hours before we receive the approval for the operation" – related Lt. Col. M., the squadron commander.

At the same time, earlier today the IDF Spokesperson announced that during the night Israeli forces deepened the damage to Hezbollah's ability to buildup by means of a series of precise attacks on Hezbollah's export sites, including a production and assembly site for Rak launchers.
