IS THE BBC REPENTING?   After a year of blatant antisemitic reporting, the BBC to honor Nova Festival victims in new documentary

Whatever the reason behind it, the BBC is giving its viewers an opportunity to go back to October 7, 2023 when Hamas massacred 1200 Israelis and experience it for themselves.

The BBC is set to air a powerful documentary about the October 7 Nova festival massacre, marking a shift in its coverage of the event.

"Surviving October 7th: We Will Dance Again" is a 90-minute documentary that uses footage from festival-goers and Hamas Go Pros. It was produced by British Jewish creators, including Lucy Kon and Leo Pearlman.

According to JPost, "The documentary is a minute-by-minute reconstruction. [It starts] at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, and depicts the events using testimonies, videos, CCTV, GoPro footage from the Hamas live stream, and phone and dashcam footage."

The documentary, which had its official launch at JW3 in North London, has been well-received by the British Jewish community, potentially easing tensions with the BBC. These tensions are a result of its blatant pro-Hamas reporting since their October 7 massacre. In fact, it got so bad that Trevor Asserson reported that it had breached its own editorial guidelines for news coverage more than 1,500 times since the beginning of the war.

Charlotte Moore, BBC's chief content officer, described the film as "a demonstration of the BBC commitment to telling stories fearlessly and fairly in pursuit of the truth."

The documentary features stories of heroism and tragedy, including that of Aner Shapiro who threw at least 7 hand grenades out of the shelter where he and other festival goers were hiding.

The film's director, Yariv Mozer, began work on the project immediately after the attack, sifting through thousands of hours of footage to tell the stories of those affected.

While there was initial controversy over the use of the term "terrorist" in the documentary, the BBC clarified that the word appears multiple times in the film, used by contributors and in a title card describing the attack.

"Surviving October 7th: We Will Dance Again" promises to provide a powerful and personal look at one of the most tragic events in recent Israeli history, offering viewers a chance to understand the human impact of the Nova festival massacre.

According to the Jewish Chronicle, "Surviving October 7th: We Will Dance Again" will air on Thursday night on BBC2 and on BBC iPlayer.
