IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy said Tuesday morning in an assessment of the situation: "We must not give Hezbollah a pause. Keep working with all your might. We will accelerate the offensive operations today and strengthen all the systems. The situation requires continued intensive action in all arenas."

The Lebanese Health Ministry announced today that the number of fatalities in IDF strikes in Lebanon has risen to 558 dead and 1835 wounded, including 50 children and 94 women.

Meanwhile, the IDF reported that IAF fighter jets had completed a second wave of attacks on Hezbollah terrorist targets in Lebanon this morning (Tuesday). According to the IDF, secondary explosions were clearly visible during the attacks, indicating that large quantities of weapons were stored in the buildings.

Under the direction of the Northern Command and the Intelligence Directorate, the Air Force attacked Hezbollah terrorist targets in the Bekaa Valley deep inside the Lebanon and other areas in southern Lebanon, including buildings where weapons were stored, headquarters and other military infrastructure: "The IDF continues its efforts to damage and detract from the capabilities and military infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization," the IDF said in a statement.
