CENTCOM announced today (Tuesday) that US-led forces destroyed two Houthi missile launchers in Houthi-held territory in Yemen, as the launchers were determined "presented an imminent threat to U.S. and coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region."

According to a report by Sky News in Arabic, there are dead and wounded from the strike.

The Houthis have recently stepped up their attacks on shipping in the Red Sea area, hitting a greek oil tanker as well as a Saudi-owned vessel.

According to Kann 11 News reporter Roi Kais, the Saudis have not commented on their ship being hit, and the Houthis have been trying to claim an error, saying they targeted the ship since it flew the Panama flag rather than the Saudi flag.
