The military arm of Hamas, the Ezz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, officially accepted responsibility for last Friday's infernal attacks in Gush Etzion.

The official announcement of the organization reads: "Ezz ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades: We reveal our first acts of martyrdom in the Hebron Governorate, to confirm what we said earlier that all West Bank governorates without exception will continue to secretly maintain more painful surprises for the treacherous conqueror".

Two failed terrorist attacks occurred one after the other (on the night between Friday and Saturday) in Gush Etzion, during which three people were moderately and lightly injured.
