Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Danon posted a critical response on X to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres' condemnation of IDF raids in Judea and Samaria today (Thursday).

In his post, Danon said that "since October 7, Iran has been acting energetically to introduce sophisticated terrorist means meant to be detonated in Israeli urban centers."

Danon then made it clear that inaction is not an option: "The State of Israel cannot sit on its hands and wait for scenes of buses and cafes blowing up in urban centers. The activity of the IDF in Judea and Samaria is meant for the clear purpose of foiling terrorist attacks and activities before they are carried out at Iranian direction."
