Iranian attack on Israel, Delayed retaliation

Attack Cancelled? Iranian Official’s Strong Message to Israel

Ali Fadavi, the deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guards, has dismissed reports about the cancellation of the Iranian attack and asserts that "revenge is inevitable."

Following speculation in Israel that progress in the ceasefire talks might prevent Iran from attacking Israel, Fadavi clarifies that there is no connection between these matters and that Iran's retaliation against Israel will occur when Iran decides. According to Fadavi: "We will punish the Zionist regime for the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Iran at the right time and place. Revenge is inevitable."

A few days ago, Kan News reported that in Israel, it is believed that delays in the Iranian attack are due to the fact that the joint preparations between Iran and Hezbollah have not yet been completed.

As a reminder, Western and Israeli intelligence assessments have shifted several times over the past week regarding when and how the Shiite axis will respond to the assassinations of a senior Hezbollah official and the head of Hamas’s political bureau.
