The prosecutor's office officially announced the filing of an indictment against a resident of Ramat Gan, for being in contact with a foreign Iranian agent and performing tasks for him in Israel.
A indictment was submitted to the court this morning (Monday) against Aden Devs, a 30 year-old resident of Ramat Gan. According to the indictment and the conclusions of the investigation, Devs was in contact with a foreign Iranian agent over a long period of time and performed tasks for him in Israeli territory and received payment for them.
According to the findings of the indictment, the Iranians tasked Debs with a series of tasks aimed at agitating and dividing the public in Israel and encouraging the recruitment of more citizens into the Iranian network. In one case, according to the indictment, his Iranian operatives ordered Debs to print and hang posters calling for a military coup against the government.
