Egyptian Foreign Minister Shoukry visited Lebanon last Friday and conveyed clear messages to the terrorist organization Hezbollah, urging it not to escalate the situation with Israel.

According to a report by the Qatari newspaper *Al-Araby Al-Jadeed*, in return for avoiding escalation with Israel, the Egyptian Foreign Minister promised to exert considerable efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza. He also promised that the U.S. would grant benefits and concessions on issues related to Lebanon and Hezbollah.

The report, covered by Channel 12 News, states that the Egyptian Foreign Minister received positive signals from senior officials in Lebanon regarding the desire to halt the escalation and prevent the situation from sliding into a full-scale war—provided that the negotiations in Gaza yield a positive outcome.
