According to the Lebanese newspaper "Al-Akhbar," regional discussions are taking place between countries in the region, the United States, and Israel, during which a proposal was raised for a ceasefire in Gaza with no hostage release.

The Lebanese report claims that in these regional talks involving mediators Egypt, Qatar, the United States, and Israel, a far-reaching proposal was presented.

The proposal discussed suggests a six-week ceasefire with Hamas and other terrorist organizations in Gaza, during which Israel would halt all military actions without returning any hostages.

The proposal includes only "guarantees for the safety of the hostages" during the ceasefire, providing "direct aid" to the hostages but does not include the release of any hostages or even information about their condition or who among them is still alive.
