Outrage: Hezbollah-Affiliated Network Reports from Majdal Shams Attack Site

A reporter from the Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen network broadcasted from the Majdal Shams site where Hezbollah rockets killed 12 children, alleging that Israel was responsible. This shocking development occurred less than 24 hours after the massacre.

Journalist Hanaa Mahmid reported from the scene, inaccurately attributing the deaths of the 12 children to an "Israeli attack" while her report was labelled as coming from the "occupied Syrian Golan."

Following the outbreak of the conflict, the Israeli government imposed emergency measures banning Al Mayadeen's operations within the country. Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi emphasized that "Al Mayadeen’s broadcasts and journalists serve vile terrorist organizations, and it is time to hold them accountable."

Since the ban, Al Mayadeen journalists have resumed reporting from Israel, often without clear identification of their affiliation, and sometimes using Zoom for their broadcasts instead of traditional methods.
