IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari provided an update on the drone attack on Tel Aviv today (Friday), saying that the IDF believes the drone came from Yemen and was an Iranian Samad-3 design. It approached Tel Aviv from the sea.

As reported earlier, the Air Force admitted that the drone was mistakenly not designated as a "hostile target" and therefore not targeted by the aerial defense system. Rear Command says that there are now increased air patrols to defend the country's skies.

One man was killed and eight wounded in the drone attack.
