The Chairman of Israel Beitenu and the former Minister of Defense, MK Avigdor Lieberman, was interviewed this morning (Monday) on IDF Radio, and during the interview he addressed the Iranian nuclear issue and the strengthening of Tehran. He hinted that in his opinion Israel should use all the capabilities available to it saying, "We must defeat their nuclear program. The US started a second world war against Japan, no one asked who won."

Lieberman harshly criticized the government regarding the conduct of the war: "What needs to be understood is that we have a leadership that has not internalized and does not understand what happened on October 7. The leadership is stuck in the reality of October 6, they have no idea how to end the campaign. They managed to drag us into a war of attrition. Neither Hamas nor Hezbollah can be defeated without defeating Iran, we must defeat their nuclear program."
