As reported by AP, the IDF says it hit many towns across southern Lebanon with strikes. The IDF said its warplanes bombed infrastructure used by Hezbollah in several locations in southern Lebanon yesterday (Thursday).
This comes in response to Hezbollah's massive rocket barrage against cities in northern Israel yesterday, including Tzfat.
Israel and Lebanon have been exchanging cross border rocket fire since Hamas' October 7 attack, but yesterday's (Thursday's) attack marks a significant uptick in the scale of Hezbollah's attacks. A Hezbollah official promised “a dramatic increase” in the strength, intensity and number of attacks, saying “if the Israelis are crying about what happens to them in the north, they should prepare to wail and weep soon,” as reported by CBN News.
America is growing increasing concerned about the likelihood that an all-out war between Israel and Lebanon will break out soon, in addition to the current Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
