The north is under major attack as Hezbollah barrages Israel with constant rockets throughout Wednesday. As a result of the missiles being fired, wildfires have been breaking out throughout northern Israel with firefighters working around the clock to keep the blazes under control and prevent further damage.

Twenty-one firefighting teams, as well as eight planes, have currently been dispatched to battle the flames after the non-stop rocket attacks from Lebanon.

The Israeli Magen David Adom stated that it had not received any casualty reports as of yet. On June 12, 2024, missiles fired from Lebanon hit open areas near the northern Israeli city of Safed, prompting Israeli firefighters to attempt to put out the flames.

After Israel killed Sami Taleb Abdullah, the most senior Hezbollah commander to be eliminated since October 7, on Wednesday, Hezbollah launched more than 250 rockets at Israel.

The IDF said most rockets fell in open regions, some others were caught, and others fell in different areas. It stated that there had not been any casualties on the Israeli side, but firefighters were fighting fires started by the Hezbollah strikes in a variety of locations.
